Uma Wang

Uma Wang studied textiles in Shanghai before graduating from Central Saint Martins in London, later becoming the first Chinese designer to enter the official Milan Fashion Week calendar.

Since founding her label in 2009, she produces her garments closely with Italian weavers and artisans to create an ornate, layered world of dress, weaving Chinese tradition into understated contemporary silhouettes.
