Marina Yee

Marina Yee was one of the Antwerp Six, the Belgian designers who challenged mainstream fashion after exhibiting in London in 1986. After stepping away from fashion in the 1990s, she returned with a collection in 2022, entirely on her own terms. She passed away in November 2025, leaving a lasting influence on contemporary fashion.

Her independent design language was defined by restraint, reconstruction and an intuitive sense of craft. Through thoughtful layering and the reworking of discarded materials, she found beauty in the overlooked.
