Collection: Uma Wang

Uma Wang studied textiles in Shanghai before completing her fashion degree at Central Saint Martins in London, becoming one of the first Chinese designers on the European fashion calendar. She launched her eponymous label in 2009, producing everything in Italy through close collaboration with local weavers and artisans. Her work is built around an intimate knowledge of fabric — its weight, its drape, the way it moves. Layered silhouettes, nuanced tailoring, and muted earthy tones define a body of work that sits quietly between East and West, drawing on Chinese tradition without announcing it.
