Damp wood, incense, and freshly laundered linen; the typical smell of an old, wooden Japanese house from the neighbourhood of Aoyama. Exquisite traces of highly-chic Patchouli (damp wood) of smoked wood (Gaiac and Vetiver) and of cloves. A harmonious chord of moss accentuates the feeling of freshness.
The candle is made in France using 100% Natural wax, free of paraffin, petrochemical byproducts and GMOs, with a soy base and bees wax to help solidify the wax. The wick is 100% cotton. The glass is hand-blown in Vinci, Tuscany, the birth place of Leonardo Da Vinci. Each glass container is unique and irregular with tiny air bubbles being a desirable feature. The label and packaging is printed in letterhead and type-set by the last remaining Master Printer in Paris. Each label features a bouquet illustration which outlines the different elements used to create each scent destination.
Each scent destination is created in collaboration with Francoise Caron, the first female 'Nose' to be recognised by her peers. Historically, only four perfumers have ever been knighted and Francoise Caron is the only female Nose to be a part of this exclusive group.
Each candle is 260 grams giving it a burn time of approximately 60 hours.
