Collection: Song for the Mute

Founded in Sydney in 2010 by lifelong friends Melvin Tanaya and Lyna Ty, Song for the Mute began as a single asymmetric T-shirt and grew into one of Australia's most internationally recognised labels.

Each collection unfolds as a chapter in an ongoing narrative, developed through close collaboration with artisanal mills in Japan, Italy and France. Distressed finishes, deconstructed silhouettes and experimental textile layering define the label’s distinctive language.
