Collection: Jean-François Mimilla

Jean-François Mimilla has been making jewellery inside Marc Le Bihan's atelier since 1991, entirely self-taught. His artisanal process begins at the Paris flea markets — vintage blown glass beads from the 1920s and 30s, antique rhinestones, aged fragments sourced and collected obsessively — which he then washes, oxidises, and crochets into fine stainless steel chain by hand. Resin appears throughout, suspending materials mid-air as though preserving something that was almost lost. Each piece arrives in a handmade box of his own making. Designer jewellery that sits somewhere between wearable art and recovered archive.
