Simone Rocha

Simone Rocha is the daughter of designer John Rocha, spending her teenage years in his studio and absorbing his understanding of fabrication, textiles, and handwork. She completed her MA at Central Saint Martins in 2010, debuting her label at London Fashion Week the same year. Her work has since developed a distinct visual language — sculptural silhouettes, layered textures, intricate embellishment, the tension between softness and something more unsettling beneath it. Drawing on her Irish and Cantonese heritage and on ideas of ceremony and ritual, Rocha has built one of the most singular bodies of work in contemporary fashion.
