Pas de Calais

Founded in Tokyo in 1998 by Yukari Suda, Pas de Calais takes both its name and its spirit from the northern French region — its coastal landscapes, fine lace heritage, and the particular quality of its light. Suda develops her own original textiles, combining traditional dyeing methods with contemporary techniques across cotton, linen, and silk. The palette stays close to nature: ecru, sand, chalk white, dove grey, coal black. Silhouettes are relaxed and unhurried, designed for comfort without sacrificing delicacy. Japanese precision in the making, French romance in the feeling.
