Setsuko Small Tree Vase

From Astier de Villatte’s collaboration with artist Setsuko Klossowski de Rola, Balthus’ widow, comes the Setsuko tree vase. A small, yet eye-catching vessel that is ideal to display a single bloom. 

Every piece of Astier de Villatte is hand crafted in Paris by a Tibetan ceramicist, using pre-industrial techniques that have been passed down for generations. Starting with black terracotta, each piece is finished with a milky glaze that amplifies the unique character of the clay, celebrating its imperfections and ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
