Setsuko Braided Handle Pitcher

From Astier de Villatte’s collaboration with artist Setsuko Klossowski de Rola, Balthus’ widow, comes the Setsuko pitcher. Featuring an eye-catching braided handle, this pitcher will hold your sparkling water or a fistful of blooms from the garden.  

Every piece of Astier de Villatte is hand crafted in Paris by a Tibetan ceramicist, using pre-industrial techniques that have been passed down for generations. Starting with black terracotta, each piece is finished with a milky glaze that amplifies the unique character of the clay, celebrating its imperfections and ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
