International Women's Day 2026

This International Women’s Day, we invited a few extraordinary women to be photographed with someone who has inspired them, shaped their journey, or held significance in their lives. They shared the stories that linger in memory, the moments that define connection.
Together, these stories reveal strength and softness, intimacy and reverence, celebrating the quiet influence and lasting impact of women, today and every day.
Julie and Laura - Sisters

Julie and Laura styled in Simone Rocha. Julie wears Charcoal Ribbon Corset Cardigan, Black Satin Rosette Bow Earrings, and the Black Ruffle Tulip Skirt. Laura wears Black Unbounded Ribbon Dress, and the Jet Bow Cluster Earrings.
How has watching your sister move through different seasons of womanhood changed the way you see yourself?
Julie: Watching her grow from birth into adulthood has inspired me in so many ways. Even though I’m her big sister and she’s always looked up to me and valued my opinion, she has been such a positive influence in my life. She’s kept me young and motivated and always on my toes.
When she was diagnosed with cancer, it was devastating for me — especially having been through it myself. All I wanted was to protect her from that pain. But instead, she showed me a strength I had never seen before. The way she carried herself through something so difficult was extraordinary. She reminded me of a resilience that lives within both of us.
I am so proud to call her my sister.
And through all the changes life has brought us, our shared love of fashion and art has only grown — evolving with us, reflecting the women we’ve become.

What is a quality in your sister that has shaped the woman you became?
Laura: One quality in my sister that has shaped the woman I’ve become is her quiet strength. Being 11 years older than me, she has always been someone I look up to. She carries herself with resilience and grace, and she taught me that strength doesn’t have to be loud to be powerful.
When she went through cancer, I saw that strength in its most real and raw form. I watched her face fear and uncertainty with courage that never wavered. And when I later faced my own fight with cancer, it was her example that carried me. In my hardest moments, I thought of her bravery and reminded myself that I could be strong too.
We’ve always shared a love for fashion and beautiful homewares, but what she truly gave me was confidence. She showed me how to express who I am through what I create, wear, and surround myself with. In so many ways, she shaped not just my style, but my strength — and the woman I am today.

When you look at Caro, what do you see that the rest of the world might miss?
Simone: When most people look at Caro, they see the bright smile, the happy face, and that bubbly, fun, infectious energy she brings into every room.
She is generous of herself and her time and they would see her "can do" attitude and her spark.
What they may miss that I see is the quiet courage that sits beneath that big smile.
She strength she doesn't talk about but shows every day, the vulnerability she tries to hide or the hurt she doesn't show, and the resilience it takes for her to show up with so much positivity for everyone all the time. And so on International Women's Day, I celebrate women like Caro and our friendship.
