Mad et Len

Founded in 2007 in the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence, Mad et Len has quietly built a cult following rooted in craft and raw natural beauty. Every candle is made by hand from natural ingredients, the perfume oils undiluted and aged, poured into blackened iron vessels forged by a local blacksmith that retain the scent long after the candle itself has burned down. The name nods to Proust's madeleine, that famous crumb of cake that unlocks an entire world of memory. Scent as recollection. Objects designed to inhabit a home and stay there.
