Collection: Jean-François Mimilla

Entirely self-taught, Jean-François Mimilla has been creating jewellery within Marc Le Bihan's Paris atelier since 1991. His process begins at the city's flea markets, where he obsessively collects vintage blown-glass beads from the 20s and 30s, antique rhinestones and aged fragments. Each element is carefully washed, oxidised and hand-crocheted into fine stainless steel chain.

Every piece is presented in an ornate, handmade box of his own making. Somewhere between wearable art and a recovered archive, his jewellery gives new life to forgotten objects.
