Collection: Tagliovivo

Tagliovivo — Italian for raw cut — was founded in southern Italy by Giordano Lapegna, who spent two years researching leather, vegetable tanning, and hardware before launching his first collection in 2013. Each piece is handmade by craftsmen with three generations of experience, using vegetable tanned leather sourced from the Guidi tannery and iron hardware drawn from 19th century wrought iron chains once used to hang pots over fireplaces. The leather's original marks and scars are preserved rather than concealed — a deliberate choice, a form of respect. Objects that carry their history openly, and grow more beautiful for it.
