Once a year, our community gathers to give their archives a second life. The Dilettante Circle is a curated designer fashion market where you set the prices, we handle the sales, and every cent comes back to you as store credit. Bring pieces you love but no longer wear — and find something new to love in their place.

Our mission is to promote sustainable fashion practices, breathe new life into well-made, well-loved pieces, and foster a sense of community among our esteemed friends, clients, and neighbours.

FOR SELLERS

Regulars and newcomers alike are invited to submit garments for sale.

Contributions are accepted from 19 June – 19 July at our Claremont boutique. We accept clothing, shoes, and accessories from our stocked designers — past and present — and comparable luxury labels. All items must be clean and in good condition. Kindly be advised that there is a possibility that we may not be able to accept certain footwear due to their current condition and level of wear.

The Circle is a curated event; if you're unsure whether your pieces qualify, call us ahead of time.

*We regret that we cannot accept items purchased in-store within the last 12 months, nor jewellery for the Dilettante Circle.
*Store credit earned from the sale of your items cannot be used in conjunction with pre-existing lay-bys, and discounts.

  • DROP OFF

    Bring your items to the boutique between 19 June and 19 July. Our team will assess your pieces, confirm pricing, and store them safely until the event.

  • WE SELL

    On the day, our staff manage all sales on your behalf.

  • YOU'RE CREDITED

    Store credit equal to your total sales is issued within 14 days of the event.

  • COLLECT

    Any unsold pieces will be ready to collect from the boutique within a week. We'll let you know when they're ready.

All are welcome to shop the Circle.

The Dilettante Circle is a pre-owned clothing sale and as such all items are offered sold-as-seen. All items are liable to display some degree of wear and tear. All sales are final, and returns due to faults or change-of-mind cannot be accepted.Payments will be accepted as usual via EFTPOS or cash. We regret that Afterpay and lay-bys are not available at the Dilettante Circle. Store credit, loyalty points, and other vouchers or rewards cannot be redeemed at the Dilettante Circle.
