The Minou Incense Holder, French for "kitty", presents a whimsical approach to an every day item. The handmade ceramic cat crouches against a post from which incense is held. The gentle oscillation of smoke is reminiscent of the humming of a purring cat. Pair with incense from Astier de Villatte to reset the tone of any dwelling.

Every piece of Astier de Villatte is hand crafted in Paris by a Tibetan ceramicist, using pre-industrial techniques that have been passed down for generations. Starting with black terracotta, each piece is finished with a milky glaze that amplifies the unique character of the clay, celebrating its imperfections and ensuring that no two pieces are exactly alike.
