Otherwise Worn

Marc Le Bihan's garments flourish with a mesmerising grace, taking on new expression on the bodies of dancers from Co3 Contemporary Dance.
Produced in collaboration with Dilettante, Otherwise Worn traverses the intimate dialogue between garment and body, where clothing becomes both an extension of and impetus for movement.

Dancing in tulle and silk, bodies shift between delicate structure and boundless weightlessness.

Silhouettes spiral and tilt with each turn as outstretched limbs yield to soft, suspended collapse.

Feathery layers of tulle whip upwards in sweeping revolutions, unfurling into stillness before gathering momentum once more.

The makeup concept draws on the Pierrot figure of commedia dell'arte - expressive in repose and revealing an emotional candour.

A meditation on the relationship between what we wear and how we inhabit our bodies.
In the space between motion and silence, the garment finds a life of its own.
