Ennio Capasa is the designer behind the label Costume National. Founded in 1986 with his brother Carlo, Costume National is turning out to be one of Italian fashion powerhouses.A graduate of the Milan Academy of Fine Arts, Ennio Capasa worked for Yohji Yamamoto in Tokyo.

When he returned to Italy, the Capasa brothers launched Costume National, a fashion house about "French uniform" The company presented their first collection in 1987. Mixing the influences of the east and the west, Ennio Capasa's designs are innovative and challenged the status quo of the fashion design industry.
